According to the Town staff report, work includes "reconstructing the
to a semi-urban cross-section, complete with curb and gutter with
typical boulevards on the northern portion of the right-of-way, and
gravel shoulders with drainage ditches on the southern portion of the
right-of-way. The reconstruction works also ultimately requires the
upgrading of the Canadian Pacific (CP) Railway crossing to current
standards. The Town is currently coordinating the crossing upgrades
with the Developer's Consultant and CP. Depending on CP approvals, the
works will be included in the 3rd Line works, or will follow at a later
date under a separate Town coordinated process."
The estimated cost of construction is more than $1.5 million.
