Ambassador Pageant is open to  Male or Female, 18 - 24 yrs Live within a 20 km radius of Alliston; or attended Banting Memorial High School or St. Thomas Aquinas High School. Contenstants will be judged on the basis of personal interview, prepared speech, impromptu question and overall appearance The Ambassador will represent the Alliston Potato Festival Committee at various public functions in and around Alliston including parades, fairs, events, and conferences. Alliston Potato Festival Ambassador Pageant Thursday August 9, 2001 Alliston Area 7:00 pm Admission Fee $2.00  (10 yrs and under FREE when accompanied by an adult) Plus the Prince and the Princess of the Fair will be randomly drawn at the Pageant. Participants must be 5 - 7 years old.
