Police appeal for any details linked to Angus shooting incident

Nottawasaga OPP continue to investigate an Oct. 28 shooting incident in Angus appealing to "members of the public who have key information that will assist the investigators in apprehending the individual or individuals involved in this incident.

On that Sunday night, OPP were called to an Admiral Crescent neighbourhood at approximately 11:45 pm, to deal with a report of gun shots fired into two homes, including one that missed a sleeping a toddler in the home. No injuries were reported.

"This event has had a significant negative impact on this residential community," OPP said in a press release this afternoon. "Nottawasaga OPP Street Crime and Nottawasaga Crime Unit are again appealing for the assistance of the public to get this illegal firearm and the offenders off the streets of our communities. There are community members who know the individuals involved, where they are hiding and where this firearm is located."

OPP are asking residents to review their security systems and dashcam recorders for any suspicious activities or vehicles between 11 pm Oct. 28 and 1 am Oct. 29.

"The suspects should not feel comfortable in their surroundings."
