Baxter certified a 'Great Place to Work'

Posted May 13, 2019

Baxter Canada was certified recently as a "Great Place to Work" (GPTW) by the global authority on high-trust, high-performance workplace cultures.

Headquartered in Mississauga, Baxter operates Canada's only large scale manufacturing plant in Alliston, producing intravenous and dialysis solutions.

"We crafted a workplace reflective of who we are as Canadians. We know we can rely on each other no matter where we come from and that makes for a great place to work. It is something we are very proud of," said Baxter Canada President, Stephen Thompson, in the company's press release.

"Our mission to save and sustain lives is really the glue that binds us," said Rehana Doobay, Head of Human Resources at Baxter Canada. "While working towards our mission, employees tell us that they enjoy working, socializing and serving our communities together. Employees feel a sense of belonging and a commitment to customers and patients."
