Beeton man airlifted to Toronto hospital following crash
The OPP's Highway Safety Division continues to
investigate the cause of a motorcycle accident that required a
52-year-old Beeton man to be airlifted to a Toronto hospital yesterday
afternoon with serious injuries.
According to police, the motorcyclist was northbound on Hwy 400 at
about 4:11 pm when he exited at Hwy 88 and "for unknown reasons the
rider lost control and entered the grass median. The rider fell off the
motorcycle and came to rest on the shoulder of the off-ramp."
No name was released, or updates as to injuries provided at this post.
"It is unknown why the collision occurred at this time, the
investigation is continuing and any witnesses to this collision are
encouraged to contact the Aurora OPP Detachment."
