Pedestrian struck in Beeton still in Toronto hospital
A 58-year-old woman suffered non-life threatening injuries Friday
morning after being struck by a vehicle whose driver reported not
seeing her prior to the accident at approximately 10:05 am.
Nottawasaga OPP reported that the vehicle a 2010 Hyundai was turning
left onto Main Street from Centre Street when the female crossed at an
uncontrolled intersection from the north side of Main Street.
The victim was transported to Stevenson Memorial Hospital then
transferred to Sunnybrook in Toronto for injuries to her pelvis and
hips. "At this point, no charges have been laid," according to police.
