Update - Broken leg injury in morning accident

10 Sideroad between the 13th and 14th Line New Tecumseth was reopened this afternoon following a six hour closure while hydro crews repaired the downed hydro lines caused by a single vehicle collision this morning around 8 am.

OPP reported this afternoon that the driver lost control, left the roadway, and struck a hydro pole leaving live wires hanging across the roadway.

"The driver and passenger of the vehicle were transported to the hospital where the driver was treated for a broken leg," according to the press release. "The passenger was released with very minor injuries." No further details were included.
