County to spend over $340k to renovate its council chambers

Simcoe County will spend approximately $340,000 to reconfigure its
council chambers in Midhurst.
The funds were allocated in the 2014 budget and will include purchasing
a minimum of forty two desks/seats; seating at the dias for the Warden,
a minimum of three Vice Chairs, and one Clerk staff; seating for staff,
podium for presenters; new microphone and audio system, electronic
voting system; and "incorporate more of an 'embracing, inclusive'
curved design to both member and dias furniture layout, providing more
of a side view of members from the gallery as opposed to a view of
