OPP investigate Dayfoot Street break ins, scrap aluminum stolen

Posted October 31, 2012

On Oct. 29, Nottawasaga OPP were called to a Dayfoot Street business to deal with an alleged break and enter.

"Evidence inside and outside the premise indicated the intention at that location may have been for youths 'partying' as nothing was reported to be stolen," according to the press release.

Police were back in Beeton the following day, this time to investigate "an overnight theft from another business on Dayfoot Street where culprits stole a large amount of scrap aluminum."

Parsons Seeds and Borden Metal Products are located on Dayfoot Street. OPP continue to investigate. No suspects have been identified. And no indication as to whether the incidents are connected.
