Posted March 17, 2014

Two local males face charges in connection to a break and enter investigation that occurred in Alliston March 9th.

Nottawasaga OPP reported this afternoon the incident took place at an apartment residence on Victoria Street West, and two arrests were made on separate days.

The act was not random. It was reportedly over a debt owed, which was collected with violence.

"All I can say is the amount was a small amount of money and all the persons involved were known to each other," said Nottawasaga OPP constable Kelly Daniels.

On March 15, police arrested a 27-year-old, and charged him with Break & Enter and Extortion and was held for a bail hearing. A second male 43, was arrested yesterday. He is charged with Break & Enter, Extortion and Robbery with Intent . He was also held for a bail hearing.
