Overnight fire under investigation

New Tecumseth Fire Rescue and Nottawasaga OPP continue to investigate the cause of a fire that destroyed a garage and the vehicle inside it early this morning south east of Tottenham.

Station 3 Tottenham was dispatched to 1103 10 Sideroad at 2:19 am. Additional tankers from Alliston and Beeton were called in to help provide more water support.

"On arrival crews found a fully involved working structure fire," according to the press release issued this afternoon. "The fire was brought under control quickly but the structure as well as a vehicle inside is a total loss."

There were no injuries reported, and no estimated cost of damage.
