South Simcoe - A 22-year-old Barrie woman pled guilty to Impaired
Driving and Obstruct Police in Bradford court today.
Judge J.J. Douglas heard that the woman, who was found wandering on a
rural Innisfil road by police after a March 2012 crash, had a blood alcohol concentration of 290 mgs.
She lied to the investigating officers about who was driving the car,
implicating an innocent friend.
Judge Douglas sentenced the woman to four months of house arrest,
12 months of probation, and a 15 month driving prohibition. She was
