Alliston Hornets' goaltender Connor Ryckman was honoured prior to the start of Friday night's game for being named November's GMOHL Player of the Month, then went out and backstopped the team to a 6-1 win over Huntsville.

Ryckman was 4-0 last month including one shutout.

Friday night, it was 1-1 after one on Jamie Bennett scoring for the Hornets and Noah Stevens replying for the Otters. Five unanswered goals through the second and third would bury Huntsville, including two shorthanded goals by Bobby Sloan and Matt Hamilton in the third. Both scored two each on the night, with Tanner Dockerty chipping in the eventual winner in the second period.

Last night, the Hornets were in Caledon and left town with a 4-2 win. Dockerty and Mark O'Donnell each scored twice in the win. Steven Klomp and Patrick Savella scored for the Golden Hawks. Ryckman making back to back starts, turned away 23 of 25 shots for the win.

The Hornets continue to sit in second place with 43 points, five back of Penetang, and five up on third place Schomberg.

Fergus makes the trip to Alliston Friday night for a 7:30 start at the NTRC, then on Sunday, the two meet again in Fergus for a 2:30 matinee.
