Alliston Hornets' rookie camp tonight at NTRCPosted August 9, 2012
About 60 hopefuls will hit the ice starting this afternoon at 5 for the Alliston Hornets annual rookie try-outs at the New Tecumseth Recreation Centre (NTRC).
The goal for each player is to impress the coaching staff enough to be invited to the main camp which begins in about two weeks.
The Jr. C Hornets enter the 2012-13 season as the five-time Georgian Mid Ontario Hockey League champions, who've reached the OHA finals the last five years, winning twice.
Rookie try-outs are actually about two weeks behind after the Town failed to install ice at the NTRC in time forcing its postponment. The organization will pack it all into six hour span tonight, which is open to the public.
