Husky robbed again by lone male with knife

Posted May 12, 2014

For the second time in as many weeks, a knife-wielding suspect robbed the Husky gas station on Victoria Street E in Alliston, just before midnight on Saturday.

"A lone male entered the store and while brandishing a knife, made a demand for cash," OPP reported. "The male then quickly left the store after an undisclosed amount of money was obtained. The store employee was not injured during the robbery."

Nottawasaga OPP, ERT and K-9 were involved in the suspect search, who's still at large.

The male suspect is described as six feet tall, skinny build, black bushy shoulder length hair. The suspect was wearing skateboard shoes, a scarf wrapped around his face, and hooded sweatshirt.

Police did not report whether the two armed robberies were connected.

The first robbery, which took place on May 5, also involved a knife. That suspect is described as male, white, approximately 170-173 cm (5'7"- 5'8") in height, thin in stature with short, dark hair. He was wearing blue jeans, a black jacket with a hood over his head and white running shoes. He had a black knapsack and was wearing a white scarf over his nose and mouth.
