'Amazed at how professional the production was'

to the editor,

I want to congratulate The Gibson Centre, particularly Angela Drainville, Executive Director, for the tremendous production The Wizard of Oz.

Over the summer, my 13-year-old and 10-year-old, both participated in the Gibson Summer Theatre School program. I am very grateful to the Gibson Centre for recognizing the need for a program such as this in Alliston.

The program ran Monday to Thursday 9 am to 4:30 pm for seven weeks at a reasonable price. I cannot put into words what a positive learning experience it was for both of my kids.

I was amazed at how professional the production was and I looked forward to watching all the actors perform each time. I cannot wait to see what will be next at the Gibson Centre.

As for my family, both my kids have expressed the interest to join the program again next summer which I am more than happy to do.

Thank you to the Gibson Centre for this terrific program, thank you again to Angela Drainville and also a big thank you to the enthusiastic staff and fellow students for such a wonderful summer.
