Can't see how Town will win planning appeal to OMB

While I can understand to some extent the reasons being cited to stop the Nottawasaga Estates amendment, I don't expect the decision, as rendered, will be supported by the OMB on appeal.

As the Town's planning staff indicated in the report to council, the proposed amendment is in line with the province's own density policies and was not objected to by any other agency. It even conforms to the Town's own Official Plan.

I simply don't see the OMB deciding in favour of the Town, and therefore I am not supportive of wasting money defending an indefensible position.
