'Do the right thing and tell him the truth'to the editor,
Posted June 25, 2014I attended Monday night's New Tecumseth council meeting and can say, it's no wonder our taxes are so high with all the red tape and passing the buck and not doing anything about the problem Frank Parulski described about a municipal well impacting his property.
When push comes to shove and the problem is not addressed in a timely manner, who in their right mind would allow this problem to remain on the books and do nothing to resolve it?
I truly think that Mr. Parulski has been blindsided by council and managers and if the well issue cannot be resolved, then do the right thing and tell him the truth and compensate him for his pasture losses.
I was also astonished to see the samples he submitted to council , the state of the so called potable water entering his home. Not one council member rushed over to sample a drink offered by Mr Parulski.
Why on earth has this matter taken so long to resolve? Is somebody not doing their job to the best of their ability?
