'Throw your hat in the ring next election'to the editor,Posted January 11, 2013 Regarding Adam Hutchinson's letter, I can understand a person being frustrated with politicians, especially when they have the audacity to support programs you don't use. I can understand a person being angered by a council that spends money on emergency services, and I pray the time never comes for you that you find you need them and they aren't available. What I can't understand is why, because I may have a different view of the way the community I live in is being managed, you have decided without the benefit of having ever met me, I am, in your oh so verbal opinion, a "disaffected zombie." If you feel so strongly about the way council should operate, throw your hat in the ring next election. Until you are a candidate working to get my vote, you have no right to criticize it.
