'The truth might just get you my vote'
to the editor,
Well said Charles Bryant.
When it comes to Federal and Provincial elections I have a
very hard time choosing which candidate to vote for. I could not give my vote to someone whose campaign is simply to criticize the other candidates. And I don't want to vote for someone who is promising
a moon that cannot be given.
Tell me what you would like to accomplish, how you will try to
get it done and what you plan to do if that course of action fails.
Tell me what absolutely now you can't do, even though you wish it could
In other words, tell me the truth - that might just get you my vote.
Then, so as not to insult my vote, do what you said to get it.
