'I sure hope we have a clean sweep come election time'

If this group of New Tecumseth councillors ran their own businesses or were responsible for fiscal budgets for an employer, how long would they be in business if you continually overspent and ran a deficit?

It must be very easy when you are spending taxpayers' money and passing along future tax increases.

I sure hope we have a clean sweep come election time but most people will vote not understanding what really happens in municipal politics. Some will be re-elected and that, could be good.

I may not agree with Barb Huson but I sure respect her fiscal and community caring. Too bad she will not be running. So long 'watch dog' Barb, the 'good ol' boys' won't miss your thorn.
