'A magical production that was wondrous throughout'

Last week I was fortunate to attend a performance of The Wizard of Oz at The Gibson Centre in Alliston.

I was so impressed with this production, it was so professionally executed. This performance was a summer program for the youth in our area. They did an outstanding job.

We have an amazing amount of talent in our area. Our children are truly a natural Resource and we must insure that these types of programs remain available to our youth. They will learn so many life lessons when being involved in such a project such as this.

Their hard work will pay off, by working together anything can be accomplished. We all have unlimited potential, social networking, as I am sure several new friendships evolved from this program, gaining confidence in oneself by performing in front of a live audience as well as a sense of community, these are just a few advantages.

These youth are our future leaders and the life lessons learned in these types of programs will go a long way to benefit them into becoming well-balanced, confident community minded individuals.

Bravo to the production staff, everyone from the costumes, lighting, sound, organizers, everyone involved to make this play such a success.

From Dorothy and her beautiful voice, Toto, the witches, Tin Man,Straw Man, Lion, The witty Coroner and even the Trees Every single one involved did an amazing job and received a very much deserved standing ovation. Bravo to everyone.

This was a magical production that was wondrous throughout. Keep up the great work.
