Toot 'n' Holler, Saturday in Beeton, Tottenham

to the editor,

Posted April 22, 2014

I can't believe that the time is running short for Bonnie and I to bid adieu to our staff, customers and friends we have developed over the past years at Beeton Foodland.

(New owner) Monica is making herself aquainted with the store and making great plans for Beeton to continue to out-service the competition.

Because there are some parts of the business that we had that will not fall into her plans, we have some items that will not be going into the sale of inventory.

Since this weekend is the annual TOOT n' HOLLER garage sale event, and I have been known to both toot and holler with the best of them, we are going to throw a Garage Sale from 8 am- 3 pm on Saturday at the store with the proceeds going to Matthew's House Hospice.

It will be a fitting farewell for us and the community that is so much a part of our lives. Please stop by and give us a chance to say goodbye and meet Monica, all in support of a great cause.

As the song says, "thanks for the memories."
