'You'd think the message would be clear'

Posted March 25, 2008

to the editor,

I have to agree with Trevor Storey regarding the Circle Theatre. This is about fire safety and it is serious.

With all the stories we've heard this winter regarding tragic house fires you'd think the message would be clear.

There have also been many post regarding the rite of passage for the youth of this town to visit the Circle Theatre. Rite of passage or not there is no way I would allow my daughter into a building that I know has not complied with the safety regulations.

The theatre is a landmark and I feel strongly that it has potential to thrive in our town but until this issue is corrected I can assure that I will not be allowing any member of my family to set foot inside.

Jenna Champagne,
Alliston
