'The System is not working'

My partner and I had a rude awakening when we became a couple and attempted to provide our children with a loving, nurturing family environment.

Due to our flawed Family Law System we have been forced into living an emotional nightmare from Hell, simply because we wanted more time with our children - equal parenting. When did we, society as a whole, stop caring about the emotional well being of our children?

I am a divorced woman and I never stepped foot inside a Family court room. We divorced, we agreed to put the best interest of our children first and life went on.

My ex-husband re-married a wonderful woman that loved and nurtured my children and I loved her for loving my children. My children are now wonderful, loving adults. I have three beautiful grand children with number four on the way.

I met my partner (Spiderman) in 2005, two years after his family breakup. And that was when I was introduced to the flawed Family Law System. And sadly, this flawed Family Law System of ours is greatly affecting our future with the emotional turmoil it has forced upon our innocent children of divorce; emotional turmoil forced upon the non-custodial parent.

Financial turmoil forced upon the non-custodial parent. We have to spend thousands and thousands of dollars fighting for our children's rights as well as our own human rights. To the corporation of  Divorced with Children where the Non-Custodial Parents have no rights. Health turmoil forced upon the non-custodial parent. Stress related, constantly having to prove our innocence is very stressful. Guilty until proven innocent. Collapse. Depression. Ulcers. Stress induced asthmas and it just keeps going and going and going.

The "System" is not working. The "System" is destroying children, and families. The "System" is failing to protect and to defend, our innocent  
children of divorce. The "System" is tragically failing the Non-Custodial Parent.

So, again I ask you, when did this happen? And more importantly, why is it still happening?

Let Santa know all we want for Christmas is Equal Parenting. Cc: your politician and the political leaders. Our children require action now to save Christmas!
