A 39-year-old Toronto man, who operates a collectibles store on
Victoria Street in Alliston faces trafficking related charges following
drug raids by OPP in Alliston, and police at a Toronto residence,
The suspect, originally from Alliston, was arrested at Kool
Kollectibles following an OPP Street Crime Unit, and OPP K-9 Unit
executed search warrant, which turned up 55 Oxycodone pills in
Alliston, and 820 more at the Toronto address. Police put a street
value of the highly addictive prescription drugs at $52,500.
The store owner is charged with Posession of a drug for the purpose of
trafficking and Possession of Property obtained by Crime $5,000 and was
scheduled to appear in court today for a bail hearing.
It's the second drug bust in a week for OPP locally, including
approximately $7,000 in cocaine seized during a Friday raid in Alliston.
