Budget includes provision to return pro-shop to NTRC

Maybe the third time will be the charm, as New Tecumseth plans to reintroduce a pro-shop component to the New Tecumseth Recreation Centre (NTRC).

It's original location on the ground floor adjacent to the concession booth which had two unsuccessful runs between 2007 and 2012, has been transformed into a studio for exercise programs.

The new space will be smaller and located inside a room now serving janitorial purposes. It would mainly focus on skatesharpening services. It's estimated to generate about $2,500 in revenue to the Town if it proceeds. Cost to renovate is about $9,800.
