Red line revision shrinks lots, housing units in Tottenham
Draft plan changes to a subdivision proposal immediately east of The
Boulevard in Tottenham has reshuffled the housing mix which will reduce
the number of total units from 604 to 560.
The amendments are working through as red line revisions and will
include a reduction in the number of semi-detached homes from 234 units
to 112. Those are being replaced by the introduction of 95, 13 metre
single detached lots, and 139, 11 metre lots.
Also the number of 15 metre single detached lots will drop from 135
units to 51. Townhouses will increase from 60 to 63 units, and the
apartment proposal will be reduced to 100 units from the 110.
This application was formerly the Nordstar plan, which was OMB approved
in June 1998, whose proponent now is B.G Properties. In addition to the
residential, there's a commercial block fronting on Mill Street on the
east side of the subject site, adjacent to the apartment building.
