Quick arrests in Alliston robbery, property recovered

Three people remain in custody at this post, pending a bail hearing as
suspects of a mugging last night in Alliston.
Nottawasaga OPP responded to the incident at approximately 9:30 pm for
a reported 23-year-old Alliston man who'd been robbed of his cell phone
and wallet by the three males.
"In an effort to locate the fleeing assailants, a K9 officer and
members of the Ontario Provincial Police's Central Region Emergency
Response Team conducted a K9 track through the streets of Alliston,"
according to the OPP press release. "As a result of the K9 track, one
adult male and two male youths from the Alliston area were
arrested. Both the victim's cell phone and wallet were
recovered."
The three suspects from Alliston were each charged with robbery, with
one of the young offenders also charged with wearing a disguise with
intent. At this update, police provided no further details.
