Federal election campaign underway, no incumbent in Simcoe-Grey

Posted September 11, 2019

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau dissolved Parliament this morning triggering the start of the 43rd general federal elections in Canada, October 21.

Jeff Harris was acclaimed PPC candidate in April, but told Free Press Online he dropped out "for personal reasons." He said they're "hoping" to have a candidate "very soon." Nominations to appear on the ballot, close Oct. 1.
