Press Release - Stevenson Memorial Hospital (SMH) advises
the public that a fraudulent email nursing recruitment campaign has
been reported in the Philippines.
An email has been circulated claiming to be sent on behalf of Stevenson
Board members and suggesting that nursing jobs are available and a
two-day workshop will be held to share details.
Stevenson Memorial Hospital does not recruit nurses by email and is not
involved in a recruitment campaign in the Philippines. The case has
been reported to police for investigation.
The matter has been referred to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre for
investigation. Anyone who receives an email related to this matter can
contact Stevenson Memorial Hospital.
