Developmental service agencies coming under 'one roof' in Alliston

Posted November 6, 2019

The former TD Bank building at Alliston Mills plaza is undergoing an estimated $180,000 renovation to accommodate a multi-agency social services centre focused on children, youth, adults and families with special needs.

South Simcoe One Roof will feature Children's Treatment Network (CTN); Catulpa Community Support Services; CLH Developmental Support Services; and Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH) at 117 Young St. Currently similar supports operate temporarily at St. John's United Church on Victoria Street in Alliston.

Cecilia Remo Manager, Communications lead for the project told Free Press Online via email they expect to be open on Mon., Dec. 2.

"Members of the community will experience ease of access to specialized services as all four agencies will be co-located in one, centrally and conveniently located building on Young St. in Alliston," said Ms Remo via email. "Co-locating fosters an inclusive and collaborative environment, creating a place of belonging and reinforcing a sense of community."
