The early passage of the 2014 budget last December, meant New Tecumseth
could issue several tenders in the first quarter of the new year, and a
slew were awarded last night, including a $441,153 contract to Lisbon
Paving for three road improvement projects.
Lisbon's contract includes asphalt capping on the 6th Line from 10 SR

toward the new purchase.
Trillium Ford Lincoln in Alliston, was the lowest of seven bidders at
$157,851 (not including taxes) for seven 2014 regular cab, two-wheel
drive half ton pick-up trucks for the public works fleet. Strickland's
Brantford Chevrolet was the lowest of four bids, $80,321, not including
taxes, for three 2014 cargo vans with curbside and rear loading doors.
