Utility Clerk - Finance
As the result of a retirement, the Finance Department of the Town ofNew Tecumseth is seeking an organized, computer literate, person witha positive attitude and excellent people skills to fill the position of Utility Clerk. Reporting to the Supervisor of Revenue Services/Tax Collector, this position is responsible for completing all aspects ofwork related to the billing of water and wastewater accounts for the municipality. The incumbent will pursue the collection of overdueaccounts in accordance with Town policies and procedures. The position will be required to provide information and direction byphone and at the counter with regards to water and wastewater billing and general inquiry issues. As well, the incumbent liaises withvarious Town Department staff to gather and provide information regarding utility related issues. The position also performs back up duties for the Tax and Revenue Clerk functions when required.
