Vaughan man facing 25 charges following incident in Alliston

A police call involving a mischief to a parked vehicle on Tupper St. W., in Alliston on Feb. 16 ended with the arrest of a male from Vaughan, who was held in custody, and facing more than two dozen charges.

Nottawasaga OPP reported this afternoon they were called about damage to a parked car at 11:45 pm on Sunday night, and found damage inflicted to the gas tank, which caused gasoline to pour out on the driveway.

"Extensive patrols of the area were conducted and Nottawasaga OPP Officers located the suspect vehicle at 11:54 pm on Young Street," according to the press release. "The suspect was on release conditions and Police arrested the male for failing to comply with these conditions. During a search of the male incident to arrest, Police located two firearms.

Ali Roshani, 34, has been held for bail and charged with the following:

Criminal Harassment,
Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm,
Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon,
Carry a Concealed Weapon,
Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm/Ammunition,
Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order x 3 counts,
Occupant of Motor Vehicle knowing there was a Firearm,
Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm x 2 counts,
Possession of a Firearm-Serial Number has been tampered with,
Possession of a Schedule II Substance, (Controlled Drugs and Substances Act),
Fail to Comply with Recognizance x 6 counts,
Fail to Comply with a Probation Order x 3 counts,
Carry a concealed weapon,
Mischief endangering life,
Mischief under $5,000 x 2 counts.
