Two New Tecumseth men sobered up in police custody after separate
incidents within moments of each other early Sunday morning in Everett

possible break and enter in progress on Wales Ave North.
"But while en route, they were updated that it may not be a break and
enter but an intoxicated male mistaking the residence for his own. The
home owner refused to open the door and spoke to the male through the
door; the male party then walked northbound on Wales Ave and
disappeared up the street."
The 32-year-old male was located by Police and arrested for public
intoxication and held until sober. He was issued a Provincial Offence
notice for being intoxicated in a public place under the Liquor Licence

"Twelve minutes after the above occurrence, Nottawasaga OPP were called
to Knight Street ... where the home owners noticed a male sleeping near
the side door of their residence. Police attended and placed the male
under arrest for being intoxicated in a public place."
The 44-year-old was held until sober and issued a provincial
