
Pills and contraband smokes turn up in Adjala drug raid

Nottawasaga OPP Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), with assistance from Dufferin and Caledon, executed a search warrant at a residence on County Road 50 in Adjala-Tosorontio Wednesday, ending in a drug trafficking arrest.
Police said they were tipped in the early fall of the accused allegedly dealing narcotics in New Tecumseth.
"Through surveillance and investigative techniques, officers observed activity consistent with drug trafficking and obtained a search warrant," which police served Nov. 26 just before 12:30 pm.
At the residence OPP seized:

Prescription medications, including Oxycodone, Lorazepam, Tramadol, and Trazodone

Approximately 14,000 contraband cigarettes

$1,960 in cash
Tena Clarke, 66, of Adjala-Tosorontio, is charged with

Possession for the purpose of trafficking - Other Drugs

Trafficking a Schedule I substance - Other Drugs

Trafficking in contraband tobacco
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on February 19, 2026.
