Alliston man, five others, facing second degree murder charges

Investigators with the York Regional Police Homicide Unit have charged six suspects and are appealing for witnesses following a homicide last week in Aurora.

​

"On Wednesday, June 10, at approximately 2:45 p.m., officers attended an unknown trouble call at a residence in the area of Wellington Street East and Walton Road," according to police. " When officers arrived on scene they located an adult male suffering from significant trauma."

The victim, David Gosse, 55 of no fixed address, was pronounced deceased at the scene, cause of death was determined to be the result of blunt force trauma.

FIve of the six suspects were arrested near the scene of the crime in Aurora.

​

A sixth suspect was arrested that same evening just after 6 pm at gun point on Industrial Parkway in Alliston. He was being pursued by York Police and was stopped by the CP Train running through the crossing. A local couple stopped by the train, were crashed into as the takedown played out.

 

Six suspects have been charged with second degree murder:

• James MONTGOMERY, 44, of Alliston

• Craig WILSON, 31, of no fixed address

• Jaymie WHITE, 36, of Georgina

• Fabio FAGANELLO, 58, of Aurora

• Maria FAGANELLO, 54, of Aurora

• Bianka FAGANELLO, 29, of Aurora

 

The investigation remains ongoing.
