Alliston man charged with careless driving causing harm in March 2025

South Simcoe Police have charged a 65-year-old male from Alliston in a near 11-month-old serious collision.

On March 6, 2025, at approximately 1:40 pm, South Simcoe Police responded to a report of a serious head-on motor vehicle collision in the area of County Road 27 near Line 9 in the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury.

 

Multiple parties sustained serious injuries and were transported to hospital. One occupant was airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre.

 

As a result of the investigation, a 65-year-old male from Alliston has been charged with careless driving causing bodily harm and is scheduled to appear in court on March 9, 2026.
