Alliston resident charged threatening Premier Ford

OPP has charged a 20-year-old male from Alliston  in relation to a threat made against the Premier of Ontario, last month.

​

On Friday, February 13, 2026, the OPP Protective Services Section (PSS) began an investigation into a threat made against Premier Doug Ford. As a result of the investigation, police arrested the suspect and charged him with one count of uttering threats to cause harm.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bradford on Thursday, April 9, 2026.
