Angus man charged with child sexual exploitation

Police have arrested and charged an Angus man with child sexual exploitation following execution of a search warrant at his residence.

​

On Wednesday, January 21, the OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit (CSEU) with assistance from Nottawasaga OPP and the OPP Digital Forensics Unit, moved in and seized several electronic devices.

Michael Tyler Thomas, 40, is charged with

· Possession of chid sexual abuse and exploitation material; and

· Importing of child sexual abuse and exploitation material.

​

The accused was released from custody following a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bradford on March 5.
