New evidence leads to more arrests, charges in 2025 Bell store robbery

Nottawasaga OPP have made additional arrests connected to a 2025 armed robbery at the Bell Store on Young Street in Alliston based on evidence uncovered during the original investigation.

At the time, there were five suspects who made off with  approximately $30,000 in products. Three were later arrested with the help of Toronto police, while the others were at-large.

Police executed search warrants Thursday, February 19, at residential addresses over multiple jurisdictions in the GTA, ending with four arrests, including two young offenders.

"After arrests were made during the original occurrence, evidence was found leading police to believe additional criminal offences had taken place leading to the search warrants being written and executed," said Provincial Constable CJ Hietanen

Community Safety Officer/Media Relations Officer. "This is the same occurrence with additional charges being laid due to that evidence."

Joseph Lee, 19, of Mississauga, has been charged with: Conspiracy to Commit Indictable Offence.

 

Luke Grant, 19, of Etobicoke, has been charged with: Conspiracy to Commit Indictable Offence.

A 17-year-old of Ajax has been charged with: Robbery with a Weapon; and Conspiracy to Commit Indictable Offence.

 

A 17-year-old of Toronto has been charged with: Robbery with a Weapon; and Conspiracy to Commit Indictable Offence.

All four accused were held for a Bail Hearing on February 19, 2026 and currently remain in custody.
