OPP make arrest in two-year-old arson investigations in Adjala

Nottawasaga OPP Major Crime Unit (MCU) with the assistance of the Hawkesbury OPP and Laval Police have charged a 7th individual in relation to an arson investigation.

​

On Wednesday, June 10, police executed a search warrant at a residence in Laval, Quebec, where the accused was arrested in relation to an investigation that began in the fall of 2024 after multiple unoccupied homes in new subdivisions in Colgan were set on fire.

​

As a result, Ramin LAZAR, a 34 year old of Laval, Quebec, has been charged with:

·        Conspiracy to Commit Indictable Offence 

·        Arson 

​

The accused party was released with a future court date at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bradford on July 2nd, 2026 to answer to the charges.
