Alliston, Bradford pair charged in Tottenham assault

Nottawasaga OPP have laid multiple charges against two individuals following a serious altercation in a Tottenham parking lot.

On June 18, 2025, shortly after 12:00 p.m., officers responded to reports of a disturbance in a business parking lot on Queen Street North. Upon arrival, police observed a large group of students gathered at the scene and noted several damaged vehicles.

An investigation, supported by video surveillance, revealed that an altercation had occurred involving three vehicles: an Acura, an Audi, and a Volkswagen. The incident escalated when the driver of a blue Acura intentionally struck the passenger side of a black Audi, injuring an occupant who was later transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.

The Acura then continued to drive recklessly through the parking lot, striking a second vehicle with an occupant inside before fleeing the scene.

The suspect vehicle was later located in Alliston, where officers found the accused walking alongside it. During the arrest, a 16-year-old individual fled the scene in the Acura but later turned himself in to police.

A 19-year-old male from Alliston is charged with:

  • Dangerous Operation

  • Failure to Stop After Accident

  • Assault with a Weapon - Two counts

 

A 16-year-old youth from Bradford is charged with:

  • Dangerous Operation

  • Flight from Peace Officer

  • Failure to Stop After Accident

  • Assault with a Weapon - Two counts

 

The accused individuals have been held for a bail hearing and the investigation is ongoing.
