On August 9, shortly before 11 pm Nottawasaga OPP were called to the scene locating the injured child, but the driver had fled the scene.

Officers located the suspect vehicle shortly after on Industrial Parkway.

A 16-year-old youth from Bradford was charged with Failure to comply with release order - other than to attend court- Two counts.

Both accused parties were held in custody for a bail hearing at a later time.

Zadran faces similar driving charges from a June 2025 incident in a parking lot in Tottenham, which involved damage to three vehicles, and one person sent to hospital with minor injuries. He also fled this scene, later arrested in Alliston. In this instance a youth from Bradford was with him and charged. Whether it's the same person could not be confirmed because of the Young Offender's Act.
