Posted October 1, 2025

New Tecumseth's share of the 2026 Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund (OCIF) is $2,650,503, out of $12.8 million spread across Simcoe-Grey.

The OCIF is a $200 billion capital plan focused on small and rural municipalities with populations under 100,000, to help finance essential assets such as roads, bridges, water, and wastewater systems.

“We are grateful for the continued support from the Province through the Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund,” said Mayor Richard Norcross. “This investment will help us move forward with critical infrastructure projects that improve the quality of life for our residents and strengthen the resilience of our community."
