Final costs to build and furnish the New Tecumseth Administration Centre has settled in at $22,391,375 or $474 per sq ft. The original projected amount was $16.5 million.

As the dust settles on a four year deal between New Tecumseth and Nottawasaga OPP (Ontario Solicitor General) initially proposed as a near 25 per cent increase in 2025 contract costs, a combination of 10 per cent subsidy from the province, and reduction in hiring plans, the Town will pocket $279,842 in savings from the approved budget amount.
