Stronach charged with more sexual assaults

Peel Regional Police Special Victims Unit announced additional charges against 91-year-old Frank Stronach from Aurora in connection with a historical sexual assault investigation.
The new charges are as a result of three new victims coming forward in relation to incidents that allegedly occurred between 1981 and 1994. The charges include one count of rape; one count indecent assault; and three counts of sexual assault.

Stronach, who made a first appearance in a Brampton court this morning, is accused of sexually assaulting 13 women between 1977 to 2023, facing 18 total charges.

In 1956, according to Wikipedia, Stronach started his first business, Multimatic Investments Ltd., in the old manufacturing district of Toronto. In 1969, his firm acquired its first automotive parts contract and merged with Magna Electronics. In 1973, the name was converted from Multimatic Investments Ltd to Magna International Ltd. headquartered in Aurora.
