
Toyota trucks stolen overnight in Alliston

Two Toyota Tundras were successfully targeted by thieves early this morning in Alliston, raising the number of local trucks stolen to nine in less than two months.
At 3:28 this morning Nottawasaga OPP were called to Walnut Street where "the homeowner reported they had just heard their white 2023 Toyota Tundra pickup truck start in the driveway then depart southbound on their street." (Image attached).
Less than two hours later, at 5:17 am, police were called to Gordon Drive in north end where a black 2024 Tundra was stolen after midnight.
"Witnesses stated they observed the suspect vehicles being a dark grey larger European model SUV and a white Mercedes SUV with one suspect driving and a passenger that would steal the vehicles," according to OPP. "Police conducted extensive patrols of the area and were unable to locate the suspect vehicles."
This current spree of stolen trucks have taken place in Alliston, Beeton, Tottenham, Everett, and Thornton, with the first reports dating back to January 5th. The Tundras and Dodge Rams are favouite targets.
