
January starts, ends with multiple truck theft spree in New Tecumseth region

Nottawasaga OPP investigating four vehicle thefts over four days, in four communities.
Nottawasaga OPP responded to a report of a stolen vehicle from a residence on Warman St in Alliston, a black 2023 Dodge Ram, Ontario marker "BX85 310." Video footage captured shows it happened some time between 11 pm Jan. 23 and - 4:45 am Jan. 24. A black pickup truck and three suspects attended the residence. Two suspects exited the suspect vehicle, approached the target vehicle, and proceeded to start it. The second suspect re-entered the suspect vehicle and drove away while the third suspect drove the target vehicle away.
On Jan. 24, OPP responded to a report of a stolen vehicle from a residence on Tioga Blvd, Everett, a yellow 2023 Dodge Ram TRX, Ontario marker "BX77 276." Video footage captured shows the theft occurred between 10:08 pm. and 11:46 pm. A suspect walked alongside the driver's door unlocking it, entering the vehicle, and driving away.
On Jan. 27, shortly before 5 am, OPP responded to a report of a stolen vehicle from a residence on Adeline Ave, in Tottenham, a white 2023 Toyota Tundra, Ontario marker "BW94 846 " Video footage captured shows a suspect smashed the rear passenger side window with a metal bar. The Suspect is described as male, slim build, 6 feet tall, wearing black 'North Face' jacket, black hoodie, black gloves, black pants, black ski mask, white/black ski goggles and black and white runners. The Suspect vehicle is described as a dark sedan with black rims.
On Jan. 28, OPP responded to a report of a stolen vehicle from a residence on Barrie St, in Thornton, a white 2023 Ford F150 Raptor, Ontario marker "BY38 184" The victim believes the vehicle was stolen between the hours of midnight and 6 am. No video footage was obtained.
OPP said "there is nothing to say these thefts are connected" to an earlier truck theft spree between Jan. 5 and Jan. 7 when thieves stole a jeep and Toyota Tundra, and two other failed attempts at Tundras in Alliston and Beeton, leaving both damaged.
